Right, let’s cut to the chase. At our core, we’re wired to desire significance, to be recognized. It’s part of our human fabric, our DNA. Now, it’s not about vanity or ego — it’s deeper than that. It’s about validation, about knowing that we’re contributing, that we’re having an impact.

Look around. Every Instagram post, every tweet, every LinkedIn share? It’s a cry out into the digital void saying, “Hey, I exist. I matter.” We want to be seen, to be acknowledged. This need for significance is the fuel for every ambitious startup, every late-night coding session, every risk we take.

But here’s where the plot thickens. In our rush for significance, we risk losing ourselves. We risk measuring our self-worth by likes, retweets, and followers. We forget that real significance isn’t a popularity contest. It’s not about pleasing the crowd or playing to the gallery.

True significance comes from authentic engagement, from creating real value. It comes from challenging norms, pushing boundaries, and making a difference in people’s lives. It’s about impact, not impressions. So, let’s get our heads out of our feeds and focus on what truly matters. That’s how we make a real dent in the universe.
